Our professional chefs create restaurant-quality food at St George’s Residential Care Home, coming up with delicious and nutritious meals using fresh, local ingredients. Given the high quality of our menu, it was only fitting that our dining room received the same love and attention. Here are some before and after photos to illustrate how we brought one of our favourite rooms back to life…

Dating back to the mid-19th century, St George’s Residential Care Home is a beautiful period property that originally served as the rectory for the neighbouring Parish Church of St George The Martyr.
High ceilings, wonderful windows and grand fireplaces are just some of the original features that make this such a special place to live. Unfortunately, many other special features had been covered at some point in the property’s interesting history. During the restoration of the dining room we were delighted to discover original wooden floorboards, handsome wood pannelling and solid shutters.

Lovingly restored to its former glory, the dining room is once again a wonderful place to gather and enjoy meals, celebrate special events, play games or indulge a quiet hobby.
But don’t take our word for it. Give us a call on 01872 272554 to arrange a tour – we’d love to show you around!
