A warm welcome at St George’s

St George’s Residential Care Home is brimming with charm and personality and, as part of our refurbishment programme, we’ve recently updated the entrance hall to give it the facelift it deserves. Here are some before and after photos to illustrate the transformation…

St George’s was constructed just before Truro Cathedral, in the mid-19th century. Originally the rectory for the neighbouring Parish Church of St George The Martyr, it’s brimming with original features which we aim to restore whenever we can. We recently chose new carpets and wallpaper for the entrance hallway, both sympathetically selected to complement the building’s venerable age.

We love St George’s traditional character and immense charm, and our residents enjoy its friendly, family-style atmosphere. Feeling very much like a home from home, its warm welcome now begins as soon as you cross the threshold!

Don’t just take our word for it. Give us a call on 01872 272554 to arrange a tour – we’d love to show you around!
